Privacy
This page explains what Haven Protocol collects and why.
TODO before launch: final privacy language must be reviewed by counsel, and this page reconciled against what the deployed backend actually stores. Nothing below is a legal opinion.
What is collected
- Nothing, if you only read. Chapter One can be read without an account.
- Your email address, if you request chapter announcements or create a reader account.
- Reading progress, if you are signed in, so a chapter resumes where you left it.
- Purchase records, held by the payment processor. Card details never reach this site.
- Reactions, comments and poll responses you choose to submit.
What is not done
- Reader email addresses are not sold.
- No advertising profile is built from reading behaviour.
Analytics
Aggregate usage may be measured to understand which chapters are read and where readers stop. If a third-party analytics provider is added, it will be named here.
Removing your data
